yea so WOW has taken a back seat for the past wk as the lil monster (ie baby) is keeping us up to all hours. /yawn. I hope this doesn’t continue cause I’m getting withdrawal symptoms from not getting in a decent session of gameplay! This is where I start to roll new alts just so I can do SOME quests… yes I AM that addicted :O

Found some new addons that I like though, I’ll try writing a post about them at some point. Lots of fun :)
oh yea, and it doesn’t help that my PC is starting to crash when I play wow. I want a Mac…

As I’ve been levelling my feral alt lil Softy, I have really noticed the lack of FB while soloing… I’d get a mob down to about 25% health with my shred/rake/clawx2 (cause I’ve got the 2 points in Primal Fury for the 2 combo points for each crit in cat form which makes it up to 5 pts), then feel kinda stupid finishing off with the DOT Rip when it’s not gonna have the time before the mob dies to do any damage.

So now I have ferocious bite… and I am a happy kitty :) I’m finishing off the last couple of quests in HIllsbrad and Shimmering flats and I’m pretty sure I’ll ding 33 and possibly 34 while doing them… then it’s STV here I come!

The only downside I have found so far playing with this character is that, because I was a numpty and roled on a pvp server (did I mention I find pvp icky? maybe cause I’m crap at it…), I keep getting ganked by those alliance scum.  I’ll be just finishing off killing a mob, low health, and some bloody nelf rogue appears and kills me with all of my 20% health left before I even realise he’s attacking me.  Bloody allies… ;)  I would love to see something similar to the ‘ignore’ list but for the opposite faction, so I could record those who’ve killed me and return the favour when I’m a higher lvl… maybe one day eh?

Well the kiddies are napping so I’m gonna go lvl the lil feral, happy wowing!

Well the title says it all, we got him down last night for at TBC first… happy people all round. :D
Last night was our first Gruuls run with a lot of new faces in our 25 man raid, and. we. rocked.  Took about 4 attempts to get Maulgar down with the pulls being a bit funny, a hunter and I were taking turns at tanking Kiggler - much fun, we got him down to about 65% before anyone else took a look at him, yay us!

We had 3 wipes on Gruul and had to re-do the trash to get him down but no one lost heart, the energy was good and spirits were up, TS was chilled out and everything just worked.

Big props to the raid leader and all the other guildies who made it happen, there was a while when we thought we’d never get the right group of people together to make it work… now we know different.  Our raid last night was one of the most fun I’ve ever been in, I hope I can be a part of many more to come… just not too many in the one week eh ;)

Argh yet another guildy in my main’s guild left this afternoon for a more ‘hardcore’ guild.  It seems that the majority of the further progressed guilds are using our guild as a way of getting players to gear up before inviting them.  I am SO sick of this!

I just find this so frustrating! We spend ages helping a new member get attuned, geared up, into Kara and then as soon as they get bored of running “just kara” (most of the time when their gear is only just getting out of the stage where they wouldn’t be able to do anything else), they start looking for other guilds.  Where they have been turned down previously they will be accepted because they have geared up appropriately.

It’s just. so. annoying.  I swear over the last 6 months we have lost so many good players to these higher end guilds - guilds who would never have given these players a second look until they were geared up.  It seems that two or three of the top guilds on our server (progression-wise) are tempting the creme of the crop in our guild once they see that they’re well geared and have spent a long time running with us.  Thankfully we have a lot of stalwart members who won’t go anywhere, but it’s just getting ridiculous!

Get people geared up and ready for the ‘big’ instances yourself instead of poaching our players ffs!!

In other news… lil Softy dinged 30 last night - ah travel form how I love thee :)

Lil Softy, the alt feral, is now lvl 29. She’s been levelling pretty quickly considering the lack of playtime I’m able to give her. She’s on a PVP server and keeps being ganked by those damn allies… that phrase just rolls off the tongue so well doesn’t it?

I’m in a great new guild called Ad Numen (meaning, approximately.. “to divine power”). It’s full of fresh players, most of them new to the game, a guild where they are going to ZG for team-building, where they try things like going to MC, getting attuned to Onyxia. They have so much excitement for these instances that most of us have tried to put to the back of our minds! It’s great to be in such a ‘young’ guild, full of people who are yet to experience much of what the game has to offer. So far I’m loving every minute of it, even if those minutes are few and far between!

I have yet to kill an alliance character without being in a bg though… I think this is something I must achieve before the lil feral hits 30… hmm.
