Last night was my first ever look at the Archimonde fight and oh my goodness I was so excited - my first ‘proper’ progression raid with Lightwalkers. I came stocked full with pots, food reagents, the wiping hat and of course, a positive attitude to the whole thing. If you don’t think you’re going to down a boss you never will!
We must have had around 15-20 tries on him, with our best attempt getting him down to 36%! Not too shabby and the learning curve was going well. 
Our main problem (I think!) was people getting feared into the fire. Once one person goes it’s a wipe - I’ve never tried to stay alive so much in a raid before!! Hmm, that sound’s kinda bad I guess… oh well!
All in all I had an awesome time - I learned a lot and I didn’t mess up for once - go me!
Our next try is on tuesday, just before the week resets… keep your fingers crossed for us!

The thing our raid leader keeps pounding into our heads is to constantly be aware of the flames, when the fears will land and be far, far away. Even far enough not to heal or dps. Good luck!

The fight is a real big one for personal responsibility cause if you die then…
SOUL CHARGE!
And after it procs you have an unhappy raid leader going “Wipe it out guys, he’s got 3 more soul charges now.”
Some pieces of advice…
Stack shamans, tremor totem is godly.
Healing potion > mana potion in this fight. A healing potion buys you another 3 seconds to get healed on a doomfire tick.
If you see a fire and a fear is near, run away now!

The fires were a real problem yeah, most of the melee got stuck between 2 fires on several occasions =/ It was a nice night of tries tho, and I heard it was only the second night of true wipage we had on the fella. So getting him down to 32% (was it?) isn’t bad I think.

I was finding I didn’t touch my mana potions during the fights very often at all - which is unusual for a balance druid!
Tremor totems were being used in abundance too.
