Looks like WoW have released some prizes in memory of the Olympic games starting today. In order to get a tabard, you just need to enter the BG, to get the lil dragon pet, you WIN the BG. No quest pick up, they just arrive in your mail. Awesome, huh?

So, I don’t honestly get what’s going on… but BRK said this, and then BBB said this, and now Jess,  Bell, Pali and Awl all said some other stuff… so, uh, I guess I should join in with some Druid solidarity or something (although I always thought druids couldn’t be that solid with all the shapeshifting going on… another post huh? …right).

A dream… about WoW. Now that in itself isn’t unusual. I’ve woken up in the middle of the night to go to the loo thinking I’ve gotta be quick so I can get back to the raid I was dreaming about. What? That’s not strange… really, it’s not ok?

Last night’s however… this is a doozy! I logged on (in my dream) to Softthistle. She was in her usual place in the Aldor Rise inn, and I took her out, checked her mail, ran, jumped up, hit the insta-flight and up she flew.

Nothing weird yet right?

Thing is, once I’ve done that I always toggle onto my guild tab so I can see who’s online etc. Who was online… hundreds of Breana’s… all the same spelling etc, all Gun Lovin’ Dwarf Chicks… over and over and over again on my little list.

Then I woke up.

Seriously though, I think I may need help now… I’m even dreaming of blog-stuff IN my wow-dreams. ARGH!

For me at least…

I was minding my own business, we were just about to clear the trash before Netherspite, and the cat decided to jump on my back. Now that was fine, didn’t cause any problems - all good… until the fiesty lil feline decided to jump over my shoulders onto the keyboard, causing me to plunge to my death far, far below.

So a little bird told me it was your birthday today Bell! I had to post this for you!

So my lovely friends Bre from Gun Lovin’ Dwarf Chick and Fimlys from Asleep at the WoW have joined bloggity forces to make the Twisting Nether Blogcast…

… I specced FERLOL last night!! An old druidy friend came back to the game last night and we went through the gear I had, helping me decide which pieces to use and which to sell. I totally blame Twiggy for this…

So far I’m still getting used to the playstyle - my hordie feral has yet to achieve Mangle nevermind Maim, so I’m playing around lots doing my dailies…

I’ve gone 0/42/19, again this is all Twiggy’s fault… I got him to help me respec. I’m not going to be raiding, so this is mainly for soloing and the odd group up, with the (very odd) possibility of tanking occasionally.

If the armory was up you could see my gear, but as the EU one seems to be ‘down’ at the moment so I’ll do a summary of what I have here, you might want to go get some snacks first :

Headpiece
I have two options here, so I am using Malefic Mask of the Shadows for Bear/tanking and Cowl of Defiance for Cat/DPS.

Necklace
Only one choice here - a Coral Beads of the Beast that I picked up from the AH with 16str, 16agi and 24stam.

Cloak
Cloak of the Inciter.

Chestpiece
Two options here too, I’m using Heavy Clefthoof Vest with 2 Enduring Deep Peridot’s and one Shifting Shadow Draenite for any tanking needs, and Warden’s Hauberk with 2 Shifting Shadow Draenite and 1 Bright Blood Garnet for DPS.

Bracers
Only one option here and that’s the Skystalker’s Bracers of the Beast with 128 armour, 18str, 18agi and 27stam.

Gloves
Handgrips of Assassination.

Belt
Murkblood Belt of the Bandit with 148 armour, 21agi, 31stam and 42AP.

Leggings
Two choices here also… Heavy Clefthoof Leggings for bear/tanking with 2 Shifting Shadow Draenites and 1 Enduring Deep Peridot, and Skulker’s Greaves for DPS with 2 Bright Blood Garnets and 1 Shifting Shadow Draenite.

Boots
Heavy Clefthoof Boots with a Thick Golden Draenite and a Shifting Shadow Draenite.

Rings
Lightwarden’s Band and Band of Celerity.

Trinkets
Core of Ar’kelos and Hourglass of the Unraveller.

Weapon
Wildcaller.

Idol
Idol of the Raven Goddess.

I’ve yet to get any enchants on any of the gear, as I’m still starting out and really need to compile a list of upgrades and so on. So far my dps isn’t half bad and I can still nuke things down pretty quickly, so I’m not feeling to ’slow’, next step may be to tank some lower lvl instances to see how to ‘do it’ so to speak as I have literally only ever tanked once in my life!

Any tips on where to go for info or gear? I really am a noob at this stuff… so feel free to put me right if/when it’s needed!
